One of my favorite genres, I love working with subjects to create unique and dramatic portraits. Even people who tell me they never take a good picture are usually delighted with the results. My street portrait series have shown me the benefit of working fast to avoid the staged look. I strive for a spontaneous look and feel. I can shoot anywhere from hard and gritty to soft and sweet. All depends what look you are going for.
