I have a life-long fascination with emergency vehicles, police cars, fire trucks. Probably goes back to seeing these vehicles in parades as a kid. Over the years I've developed a photographic style that shows off these vehicles and personnel in a heroic fashion, the way I see them. I've met many police officers, firefighters and EMTs along the way. I have a high level of respect for their work and the fact that they help keep the rest of us safe. I love when our wildly divergent lives overlap and I'm able to capture images like these.
