Spring Cleaning!

The annual junk collection was held in Mantua Township on May 5. For a change, the weather was glorious. People from all across the township travelled to the collection point across from the service garages bringing all manner of junk and unwanted items for drop-off. A steady stream of vehicles, mostly pickup trucks, some hauling trailers, flowed in bringing tons of items. Several massive dumpsters were filled by the time it was over. I wandered about to capture scenes of the day, always looking over my shoulder to avoid danger.
