Cruisin' G'ville

Returned to Garrettsville on Memorial Day weekend to photograph the Car Cruise on Main Street event. This was my first time back since the pandemic. Great to see the people and all of the classic and custom cars. Wonderful small town atmosphere, just as I remembered it. This is my favorite venue for the Garrettsville cruises. Love the backdrop of historic store fronts. Also the evening sunlight here is grand this time of year. I arrive toward the end of the event to maximize the drama of low sun angle on the cars. I like to linger after the event ends and the cars begin to move out. Many interesting camera angles emerge as it becomes possible to photograph cars from more of a side perspective and as they are in motion.
