Hot Rodding with Cops!

The annual Hiram Police Car Show was held in Hiram Ohio on August 5th, 2023. This year’s show was a joint venture with the Garrettsville Police Department. The venue was the picturesque Hiram College Campus along tree-lined Hayden Street. The event was filled with people, food, music, prize giveaways, the occasional roar of high performance engines, and wonderful small town atmosphere. The show was in support of the charitable Shop with a Cop program that provides gifts for less fortunate families at Christmas. Chief Gregory of Hiram and Chief Christopher were both on hand along with emcee Mayor Rick Patrick of Garrettsville and Mayor Lou Bertrand of Hiram. For me, this was as much a people event as it was a car show. I wandered the venue in search of people engaging with the cars and one another. Thanks to everyone that participated and posed for photos!
