Blessing of the Animals

The annual Blessing of the Animals service was held at the Hiram Christian Church on October 3, 2024. A small group of people and their pets gathered on the lawn as a prayer was offered by Reverend Chris McCreight, followed by a reading of Joyce Sidman’s “Dog in Bed”. The group was invited to share stories of their pets and how they have influenced their lives. Rev. Chris then blessed each of the animals individually. Always great to watch people interact with their pets, and one another in a group setting like this. About as stress-free as it gets.
