Chili Cook-Off!

Hiram College and the Hiram Christian Church partnered to host a chili cook-off on Sunday, February 25 at the church. The event was a fundraiser for HAPPI Place, a resource center for Hiram College students. There was a great turnout of contestants and hungry people. Prizes were awarded in the categories of meat-based, vegetarian, spice, best overall, and best side dish. It was a very festive atmosphere and the room was filled with conversation and laughter. Great to see a mix of college students and local residents. Ages ranged from kids to senior citizens. A good time was had by all, and money was raised for a worthy cause. Thanks to everyone for posing for photos and generally celebrating the spirit of the moment.
