Do Not Adjust Your Monitor

Visited the Ohio Chautauqua event last evening at Century Village in Burton Ohio. The activities were centered out of a large circus style big top tent. It looked quaint actually from the outside with the sides and top composed of red and white stripes. Inside however was another matter. The red panels in the roof created a garish cast to the light with everything taking on an intense reddish orange hue. Making matters worse, I was told use of camera flash was prohibited. I pointed out the problem and asked if I could use flash briefly prior to the performance. This was agreed to and I went to meet the members of the barbershop quartet who were about to perform. They were dressed all in red, white and black. We talked for a bit and I was able to get a clear portrait of the group.
