A Day at the Farm!

Today was the open house at Hiram Farm, a community project that provides meaningful employment for people with autism. Lots of people turned out to tour the facility and see the farm animals up close. Around noon, local businessman Ken Pike presented a $3,000 check on behalf of the Million Dollar Roundtable Foundation to David Lundeen, Executive Director of the camp. Funds will go toward construction of a new pole barn. Ken followed up with a personal check in the amount of $1,500. Weather was perfect and the event was perfect for families with face painting, hayrides, and other activities.
